Reef Riders
Our boys-only class, ages 3 to 6. Climbing, swinging, flipping, and a whole class of other boys doing the same thing.
All classes / Reef Riders
- Boys, ages 3 to 6
- 45 minutes, once a week
- Tuesdays, 5:00 to 5:45 PM
- 8 to 10 kids per class
- Step Up For Students accepted

This is the class for you if...
- Your son wants to climb everything, and "gymnastics" sounded like leotards to him until he saw the bars.
- You want him around other boys his age, moving instead of sitting.
- He's wiggly, or a little wild, and you want a coach who thinks that's a feature.
What the 45 minutes actually look like
Forty-five minutes built around what boys this age ask for: hanging, swinging, jumping off things and landing, crashing into the big soft mats, and the strength to do it all again.
The same three parts as every class here: strength and mobility, skill development, and all-out fun. Rolls, cartwheels, beam walks and bar swings, taught in pieces.
Eight to ten boys, one patient coach, once a week.

Questions parents ask about Reef Riders
Why a boys-only class?
Some boys walk in more easily when the class is all boys. It's the same gymnastics as Guppies and Pups, just a different room.
My son is 4. Reef Riders or Guppies?
Either one works at 4. Come to whichever time fits your week, and we'll tell you if the other class suits him better.
Does he need any gymnastics experience?
None. Most Reef Riders have never set foot in a gym.
Is the first class really free?
Yes. Your child's first class is on us, no strings. Click Book a Free First Class, tell us about your kiddo, and Coach Melana will call you to find the right class and day.
What happens after I book?
Coach Melana calls you at the time you picked. She'll ask a little about your child, check which class has room, and get your kiddo's first class on the calendar. The time slot you pick online is for that phone call, not the class itself.
What if we miss a class?
You can make it up in another class in the same age group that week if there's room. As classes and openings are limited, we recommend you do your best to make it to your reserved class.
Do you take Step Up For Students?
Yes. Shark Bite Gymnastics is a registered Step Up For Students provider. Step Up only bills monthly, so Step Up families pay $129 a month instead of $120 every 4 weeks for the weekly classes. Sensory Fins and Mighty Sharks take Step Up too and are priced separately. Tell us you're using Step Up when you book and we'll set it up.
